Do I receive measurement equipment from Luscii?

You are enrolled in a program within the Thuismeten app. You may receive measurement equipment such as a blood pressure monitor, scale, or oximeter. The following conditions are important:

Agreements with Your Healthcare Provider:

  • You will only receive measurement equipment from Luscii if this has been agreed upon with your healthcare provider.
  • If you are unsure whether you will receive equipment, please contact your healthcare provider.

Enrollment for Thuismeten by the Healthcare Provider:

  • Once your healthcare provider has enrolled you for the use of the Thuismeten app, Luscii will send the agreed measurement equipment to your home address.

Delivery of the Equipment:

  • The equipment will be sent by mail from Luscii's distribution center in Culemborg.
  • Ensure that you are available to receive the package when the mail carrier arrives.

Still unable to connect your measuring device to the Thuismeten app? Please contact Luscii Support.

If your measuring device no longer connects to the Luscii app, please follow these steps:

  • Open the Luscii app.

  • Go to ‘Settings’ → ‘Devices’.

  • Select the measuring device and click on ‘Unpair’.

  • Close the Luscii app completely by following these steps:

    For iPhone X and newer

    1. Activate the app switcher by swiping up from the bottom of the Home screen and pausing slightly in the middle of the screen.
    2. Swipe right or left to find the Luscii app.
    3. Swipe up on the preview of the Luscii app to close it.

    For iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and older, and iPod touch

    1. Double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps.
    2. Swipe right or left to find the Luscii app.
    3. Swipe up on the preview of the Luscii app to close it.
  • Turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.

Troubleshooting Error Messages on Your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor

Using an Omron blood pressure monitor can sometimes result in error messages. Below is an overview of some common error codes, their possible causes, and the steps you can take to resolve these issues.


Error Code E1: Air Plug Not Connected or Air Leak in the Cuff

Cause:
The air plug is not properly connected, or air is escaping from the cuff.

Solution:

  • Check the connection of the air plug.
  • Perform a new measurement and remain still until the measurement is complete.

Error Code E2: Cuff is Under- or Over-inflated

Cause:
The cuff around your arm is not correctly inflated.

Solution:

  • Ensure the cuff is properly secured around your arm.
  • Perform a new measurement and remain still until the measurement is complete.

Battery Symbol with a Cross

Cause:
The batteries are nearly depleted.

Solution:

  • Replace all four batteries.
  • Refer to the 'Inserting Batteries' section in the manual for proper battery placement.

No Power / No Display on the Device

Cause:
The device is turned off or the batteries are not correctly installed.

Solution:

  • Check if the device is turned on.
  • Check the installation of the batteries for correct polarity placement.
  • Replace all four batteries with new ones.
  • If the device is powered by an adapter, check if the power cord is properly connected.
