Follow the steps below to connect your Omron HEM9210 blood pressure monitor to the Luscii app.

Bluetooth Access:

Make sure you have granted the Luscii app access to Bluetooth. Follow these instructions.

Enabling Bluetooth:

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet. Follow these instructions.

Open the Luscii App:

  1. Open the Luscii app.
  2. Navigate to the 'Home' or 'Self-care' page at the bottom of the Luscii app and start a blood pressure measurement by selecting ‘Blood Pressure Measurement’.

Preparing the Blood Pressure Monitor:

  1. Insert the batteries into the blood pressure monitor.
  2. A blinking 'P' will appear on the screen of the blood pressure monitor.
  3. If you do not see the 'P' blinking, remove one battery and press the start/stop button for 5 seconds. Then reinsert the battery.

Connecting the Luscii App to the Blood Pressure Monitor:

  1. Follow the instructions for blood pressure measurement.
  2. When choosing the measurement method, select Omron HEM9210.
  3. Enter the PIN code of the blood pressure monitor. This is located on the back of the blood pressure monitor (PIN: followed by 6 digits).
  4. Press 'Next' to complete the pairing.
  5. Once pairing is complete, you can perform a blood pressure measurement.

Important Note:

Ensure that you pair the blood pressure monitor via the Luscii app and not directly through your mobile device's Bluetooth settings or via the Omron Connect app.

Bluetooth Access:

Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your smartphone or tablet. Follow these instructions.

Open the Luscii App:

  1. Open the Luscii app.
  2. Navigate to the 'Home' or 'Self-care' page at the bottom of the Luscii app and start a blood pressure measurement by selecting ‘Blood Pressure Measurement’.

Preparing the Blood Pressure Monitor:

  1. Insert the batteries into the blood pressure monitor.

Connecting the Luscii App to the Blood Pressure Monitor:

  1. Follow the instructions in the Luscii app.
  2. When choosing the measurement method, select ‘iHealth Track’.
  3. Briefly press the “M” button to put the blood pressure monitor in pairing mode.
  4. Once your phone has connected to the blood pressure monitor, you can click next.
  5. After the pairing is complete, you can perform a blood pressure measurement.

If your measuring device no longer connects to the Luscii app, please follow these steps:

  • Open the Luscii app.

  • Go to ‘Settings’ → ‘Devices’.

  • Select the measuring device and click on ‘Unpair’.

  • Close the Luscii app completely by following these steps:

    For iPhone X and newer

    1. Activate the app switcher by swiping up from the bottom of the Home screen and pausing slightly in the middle of the screen.
    2. Swipe right or left to find the Luscii app.
    3. Swipe up on the preview of the Luscii app to close it.

    For iPhone SE, iPhone 8 and older, and iPod touch

    1. Double-click the Home button to show your most recently used apps.
    2. Swipe right or left to find the Luscii app.
    3. Swipe up on the preview of the Luscii app to close it.
  • Turn off Bluetooth for 10 seconds and then turn it back on.

Troubleshooting Error Messages on Your Omron Blood Pressure Monitor

Using an Omron blood pressure monitor can sometimes result in error messages. Below is an overview of some common error codes, their possible causes, and the steps you can take to resolve these issues.


Error Code E1: Air Plug Not Connected or Air Leak in the Cuff

Cause:
The air plug is not properly connected, or air is escaping from the cuff.

Solution:

  • Check the connection of the air plug.
  • Perform a new measurement and remain still until the measurement is complete.

Error Code E2: Cuff is Under- or Over-inflated

Cause:
The cuff around your arm is not correctly inflated.

Solution:

  • Ensure the cuff is properly secured around your arm.
  • Perform a new measurement and remain still until the measurement is complete.

Battery Symbol with a Cross

Cause:
The batteries are nearly depleted.

Solution:

  • Replace all four batteries.
  • Refer to the 'Inserting Batteries' section in the manual for proper battery placement.

No Power / No Display on the Device

Cause:
The device is turned off or the batteries are not correctly installed.

Solution:

  • Check if the device is turned on.
  • Check the installation of the batteries for correct polarity placement.
  • Replace all four batteries with new ones.
  • If the device is powered by an adapter, check if the power cord is properly connected.
